Starting from mid-December 2019, passenger flight No. 89, connecting Lviv and the Polish city of Przemysl, will operate on a daily schedule. The new composition mode is extremely convenient. It will provide passengers with a dock with a night train departing from Przemysl to the German capital.
In accordance with the new winter schedule, flight 89 will depart every day from Lviv station at 16; 20, and after two hours of driving its passengers will already arrive at Przemysl station. The night passenger train to Berlin leaves Przemysl at almost 20; 00, and already at 10; 00 in the morning of the next day, travelers beat in the capital of Germany.
Departure from the German main city takes place at 18; 43, and stay in Przemysl takes place at about 9; 00. To go from the Polish Przemysl to Ukraine, now you do not need to wait long. At 10; 18 to the Lviv station there is a direct route from the Polish village of Przemysl. While the train will run only on Sundays and a few weekdays. But in the near future, given the high demand for railway communication in this direction, the schedule can be expanded.
For the convenience of Ukrainian citizens and foreigners, the management of Ukrzaliznytsi plans in the coming year to launch a new direct route connecting Kiev with Berlin. Such information was reported by E. Kravtsov, the head of Ukrzaliznytsia. Also, the head of the railway company replied that in 2018, more than 80% more passengers used the services of Ukrzaliznytsia to travel to European countries than in 2017.
Active demand for international railway communications stimulates the company to develop communication in these areas. It is interesting that at the beginning of the summer of 2019 Ukrzaliznytsia opened a new route: from Mukachevo to the Slovak village of Kosice along the modern railway route. The decision of the department meets the growing demand of Ukrainian and foreign tourists.
